Bank Governance Effectiveness towards Regulatory form: record from Private Commercial Banks of Bangladesh -G. M Javed Anwar 1 -Sheikh Tanzila Deepty 2 Abstract This paper investigates efficacy of bank governance measures in improving summation performance and capital sufficiency standard for private commercialised banks of Bangladesh. Based on the study of ten-year data (1999-2008), the study suggests that display panel size and board meeting powerfully explain NPL of the banks.
