Van Gogh

Wanting to go out on a cold, ethereal Sunday but at the same time missing to stay warm, my girlfriend and I decided to venture everywhere to the Santa Barbara Museum of Art since it was convenient and did not involve L.A. traffic. The visit was a first for the both of us and we were both astonished by the work and exhibitions that the Museum of Art had to offer. Entering the museum we observed past Hellenic and Roman sculptures that dated back to 100 C.E. and also ancient artifacts from Egyptian and Samarian civilizations. I found it quite funny go forth a room that displayed ancient flora of art and paltry on to a room that displayed youthful and abstract works of art like Wifredo Lams The Casting of a Spell and John McLaughlin No.5. After quickly zooming through the modern art, I finally entered the room that contained works of art that I tend to appreciate more and took the time to observe and applaud the artists for their technique and view of their surroundings.
I have always been sociable of ornament paintings mainly because it gives the viewer a glimpse of what the artists maxim at the time and also because of the dramatic change of the landscape over the century.

The Villas At Bordighera is a 115cm by 130, oil on canvas that was painted in 1884. The reason I chose this particular painting was because it stood out the most with the vibrant colors of the garden and palms that surrounded the Mediterranean means grounding. In this painting, Monet gives the viewer a good sense of the Mediterranean light by the way it reflection off the build and is absorbed by the colorful garden....If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
