Character is quite a tricky liaison to pinpoint let alone describe, but it is what distinguishes one individual from the next and in turn tints the paint that their square up modify the universe by their actions. Take the characters Janie and the grandmother, who bare the view in Zora Neale Hurstons Their Eyes Were Watching God and Flannery OConnors A Good Man Is Hard to Find respectively. Their characters are realized more readily, because we are go alongn a look into their thoughts as opposed to people in our breeding who only give us a look into their heads through their actions and when they volunteer to put their feelings in words, which is not often candidly portrayed. We are left to feel out the character of a person, but this is ultimately an interpretation subject to bias and doctrine of the interpreter.
