* socially: The strike would cut all the connections between the people who are fully dependant on the bus transportation; it is a really high amount of people who use the buses in Halifax.
* Economically: The government lost lots of money dependable for the strike in the month and a half and so when they give the union what they want they will have to come along their pay load and that will take lots of money with the high taxes.
